Recently, the big news is the Tesla Model S($49,900+$7,500 federal tax credit) is official. It is not cheap, but today the Tesla CEO says Model S isn’t really expensive. “The ownership cost of Model S, if you were to lease and then account for the much lower cost of electricity versus gasoline at a likely future cost of $4 per gallon, is similar to a gasoline car with a sticker price of about $35,000,” he worte. What do you think of it?
“With a 300-mile range and 45-minute QuickCharge, the $49,900 Model S can carry five adults and two children in quiet comfort ?C and you can charge it from any outlet(110V, 220V, and 440V), without ever stopping for gas”, this all electric vehicle features:

- 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds
- Seats 7 people
- More Cargo space than station wagons
- 2X as efficient as hybrids
- 17 inch infotainment touchscreen
Other features include a top speed of 120 mph, Panoramic roof with sliding moon roof, Full-time 3G connectivity with Internet, HD and satellite radio; 21-inch wheels, LED and neon headlight and taillights, Brembo brake and Fully digital instrument cluster.
